Saitama Museum of Forestry Science, located in Nakatsugawa, Chichibu City, is the base facility of Sai-no-Kuni Fureai-no-Mori—a vast forest owned by Saitama Prefecture. Exhibitions related to forests and wood, as well as on Gennai Hiraga (an inventor of the Edo period), are put on display. It is a learning facility that can be used for various purposes. There is also a hot spring lodge next to the facility.
